History Of Vandalism 14

I found another batch of old photos, most of them dating back all the way from the beginning of my writing "career". I'm scanning the best and most memorable of them, so let's continue the "History Of..." series with a new episode every Monday!

2012 Recap

I can sum up the whole year in one quote: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqZVRoIoMfQ
visitor stats of my blog...
... and website

It's enough to take a look on the blog and website stats to see that (beside the usual ups and downs) everything is going to the right direction, and I guarantee I will give 142% to keep things working!

I have worked with some amazing clients, and more completed design and illustration works will be available soon + I'm already booked 'til February.

Some of the walls from 2012. Changed a little the attitude towards painting and went out piecing only when I wanted, not when I thought it would be time to do something. Quality over quantity! Beside that, I managed to visit places where I never been before (Austria, Kosovo, ...) and paint with old and new friends from all over the place.
To cut the long story short, 2012 was good and I already know 2013 will be awesome!

Green and orange and purple

This is always a winning color combination. Markers, correction pen, color pencils and pastel on plain A4 paper. Just for fun.

Let me introduce to you my mtnmnstr! Being bored in the studio, killing time with paint markers and plastic bags.

Fuckthisshit

OK, somebody please explain to me, why is graffiti and street art considered vandalism, and this shit above called art?! I'm not a bookhugger but whoever makes these "sculptures" should go fuck himself because this is nothing more than destroying another artists work! Doesn't matter even if it's a phone book (which they obviously aren't) I don't know how this adds more value to somebody's work. The original writer put some effort and skills to write something, and cutting it in pieces with a machine is a similar disrespect like going over another artists painting, graffiti or whatever.  If these landscapes are carved by hand I admit somebody has some skills that he should use in another material, but chances are high they are made with some "CNC and lasers and shit" and so it's even bigger crap. Sorry if I hurt someone's feelings, I don't know neither care who made this,  but I can't share other people's enthusiasm just because they were told on some art blog or 9gag that these are cool and trendy artworks.

Wednesketchday 7

An old, experimental sketch from 2003/04, right after I started writing "senph/senf" and tried out various styles and techniques...

Cinematograffiti 9

The internet is overloaded with graffiti and street art related videos, some of them are really outstanding and unique; This is another regular column on this blog where I'm sharing videos that grabbed my attention. All season

Went painting this weekend with Skoc... Snow, strong wind, leftovers, shitty paints, in one word the circumstances were far from ideal yet I still had fun making this piece. I had a simple sketch that was more like a guideline, and I changed it from "senf" to "senap" which means the same in Swedish language :) Nothing special, just to stay in shape and don't forget the smell of paint fumes :)

History Of Vandalism 13

I found another batch of old photos, most of them dating back all the way from the beginning of my writing "career". I'm scanning the best and most memorable of them, so let's continue the "History Of..." series with a new episode every Monday!

HCK (NSK aka NSC crew written in cyrilic) - Subotica, 2002
I can't belive this bomb is 10 years old! This is from the time I moved to Subotica and quickly become a member of NSC crew that was the best compilation of different type of writers in the city! Also this period will stay memorable for me for many reasons, I had great time with great people that I'm still proud to call my friends!

Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone is having a great time celebrating the birth of the most famous book hero and got their presents, iStuff, video games and other unnecessary things they wanted, under a corpse of a pine tree from that fat old pimp in the red suit! :D And for the rest of us still knowing what are the valuable things in our life: Happy Holidays!

Winter Graffiti Sessions

There is no better thing than painting in temperatures below zero with frozen bucket paint and half-dead spraycans... Said no one ever.
Here are some work in process shots from my Instagram, follow me @senph42 for more behind the scenes photos! Finished works and full wall coming tomorrow!

Kikinda, 2002
Do I need to say anything about this? :D This started as a part of a big (illegal) mural on the main transit road in my hometown. I will also try to find the photo of the piece by the side of this Porsche, that took 2 days nights to finish. The second night a woman who was living on the first floor behind the corner asked us the writers to be quick and don't worry for the cops, nobody will call them 'cause they like what's being painted, just finish it asap 'cause it's late and their little kid can't sleep :D

Omega

This arrived yesterday in my mailbox, a killer Senph42 sketch from Omega! It's always a pleasure seeing your name written in a whole different style than the one you write, and this time is no exception, I would never be able to come up with something like this!

Thank you Bro, my reply is coming soon! ;)

SOA Jax Teller

Another fan art illustration of the Sons Of Anarchy show. I'm planning to do a few more characters, just need to pick the ones that I find challenging to remix in my style.

SOA Clay Morrow

Here's a little preview of the (series of) new illustrations I'm currently working on... It's just a personal project to keep myself in shape; I've been drawing a lot of animals, creatures and various horror stuff lately, so it doesn't hurts to do actual (normal) people.
