What started out as an exclusive article about graffiti inspired by the Star Wars movies in the Norwegian graffiti magazine Fat Cap’s 20th anniversary issue, has now become the book project Graff Wars. It will bring together graffiti inspired by Star Wars from all over the world.

There are few phenomena that have had more influence on youth culture in recent decades than the Star Wars universe has had. GraffWars will show how much impact the legacy of the Star Wars movies have had on graffiti and many of its practitioners. The book shows how a phenomenon within a worldwide pop culture is picked up, interpreted and given his own artistic expression. This book is a tribute to the generations who have found inspiration, joy and involvement of George Lucas' fantastic universe.
