Graff time - blackletter typography, marker on paper.
Street compatible sketch, if you know what I mean...
Almost every illustration you see on my portfolio starts with a quick drawing like this; it's important to drop your thoughts on paper to see how they gonna work, then you can continue to refine the composition and separate elements. The final artwork isn't even close to these small drawings, they are here to remind me what I was trying to achieve during the process.

Cinematograffiti 40
This is something different than the usual "dudes painting graffiti" movies, but it's still so interesting street art project that deserves a spot in this episode! Suburban from Ian Strange aka Kid Zoom.

Senph42 Twitter
I have decided to re-install the twitter android app to my phone so I can spam the sh*t out of my unaware followers!
Please make sure you follow me @senph42 because beside the usual instagram photo links and irrelevant re-tweets you can catch a lot of un-planned, spontaneous confessions that I'll probably regret once I cure myself from the actual hungover... It's fun, believe me!
KOF Day One
Please welcome a small photographic review of the first day of KOF festival in Kikinda, and now that I got your attention let me remind you to follow me on instagram, twitter and tumblr* for real time updates of various forms of expression**!

Cinematograffiti 38
OK, not that I have anything against this project, but somebody please explain it to me: first, you throw graffiti writers in jail for painting, then you invite some of the most influential and inspiring writers to whom they probably look up to, and organize a big jam inside. Anybody else having hard time figuring this out? Anyways, the final production is amazing and that is no surprise given the talent and rep of featured artists.
Oh, and btw, this is not the first correctional institution that I saw having some street art/graffiti inside their walls, now how is that supposed to "educate" those "vandals" inside and make them stop "damaging the public property" again once they get out?

Portrait(s) Of The Week
I've been messin' around with similar portraits for the past couple of weeks in my free time, it's a nice exercize drawing with a normal office ballpoint pen. I knew it will be hard to achieve the desired shading effects, but I never thought it will be that hard! Hats off to all artists out there whose primary medium is the biro pen!

Window To The Past
"Everyone experiences that occasional desire to look back at a bygone age,and to catch a glimpse of something
that touches their heart and moves their soul, or throws fresh light on the changes around us.
Window to the Past captures snapshots of times gone by in such a way that, while being rooted in reality,
the images created form something new by merging the power of the past with that of the present.
They offer us the chance to remember with eyes wide open. With open eyes and open heart alike."
I came across this Hungarian website "Window To The Past" a few weeks ago, and been fascinated by the quality of images that merge old and recent photos of the same place in one. Here is a small selection of the images I found interesting from a viewpoint of a graffiti writer:
"The youth of today doesn't respect anything, they just leave a mess behind them, blah blah blah..." - I guess everyone of us heard this sentence, but I dont see any tags or scribbles on the wall on the new photo. Now take a look at the old one, behind the car...
A computer service in Budapest. Yupp, in that time, Commodore64 was the sh*t! I still remember when internet access was a luxury here in Serbia, we had to travel to big cities or across the border to see new styles or meet new friends. Now in the internet-era you can almost instantly see the most recent works of graff superstars, the whole scene is globalized, you can't find anymore a city or country with a typical style.
Nyugati Pályaudvar (Western Railway Terminal) in Budapest, now and then.
I hope you're as impressed with these images as I am! For more interesting photos visit the original SITE or their FACEBOOK PAGE.
