Week Of 42 - Day Four

Day Four of Week 42 of 2013.
Sticker/poster design I did a few years ago for a street art exhibition in Hungary, a parody of a logo and tagline of TV2, a Hungarian TV channel.

Since this is just a little daily warm-up practice, I don't intend to over-complicate things, the time limit to these side projects is max. 15 minutes.

Today's process:

Balls To The Wall

That feeling when one of your favorite bands release a new video for one of your favorite songs, featuring footage from one of the longest running metal festivals in your hometown that you made the branding/merchandise for in the last two years...

Budapest, HU, 2007, Shopp! Style Battle

vector sketches/studies - these gems appeared from the depths of my old HDD, I think they are a couple of years old, from the era when I bought my first graphic tablet. See, I have this habit of experimenting with new things (in this case, I have had to get familiar with a completely new workflow)  but on old themes or sketches that I'm familiar with: this way you have some reference point to see where the new things are going. And what's a better playground in case of a graffiti writer than those few letters we're constantly playing with? The same applies to my most recent personal project, an ongoing game of illustration experiments where I'm testing some new techniques and sketching methods.

Week Of 42 - Day 3

Day Three of Week 42 of 2013Since Wednesday is for sketches, here is a little bonus for today's episode!

Cinematograffiti 51

Sofles + Mister + Nomen + Bray rockin' a funny HOF in Lisboa. And while we're at the subject of graffiti and movies, check out my collection of movie screenshots I uploaded earlier today!

Week Of 42 - Day Two

Day Two of Week 42 of 2013

15 screenshots from various movies and TV series - how many can you recognize?

Daily Skull 15

I'm experimenting with different materials and techniques while sketching, then transforming the drawing on paper to a vector illustration in Ai. To have some reference point between the various styles and techniques, I have chosen a fix theme, a human skull.
