Another day at the Museum

I was invited to participate and help setting up the II. International Underwater Photography Exhibition in National Museum of Kikinda. (thus the lack of blog updates and online activity...) Here are some behind the scene shots, and if you happen to be in Kikinda tomorrow, feel free to drop by, the submitted photos (and as I heard the movies too) are mind blowing!

S3T ART 2 Stencils

Beside the usual Senph42 and Joca stickers, I made a few stencils exclusively for the S3T ART 2. Exhibition. These are cut from masking tape on the gallery windows:

Preparations for S3T ART 2.

 It's 4:15AM atm and I'm busy finishing my works for the S3T ART 2. group show... Beside the usual stickers, I have decided to steal the show, at least regarding the stencil dept. - I'm working on a couple of big, multilayered stencils and a bunch of smaller, simplier ones too. They are mostly portraits of my friends, colleagues and/or random people >:) Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect from me:

S3T ART 2.

It's now official, the S3T ART 2 Urban arts exhibition will run between October 10-31. in the Gallery Of Contemporary Arts in the Natioal Museum of Kikinda!
So far we have 20+ participating artists from all over the world, but the open call for art is still running 'til September 15., so if you want to participate, feel free to send your stickers, stencils, posters etc. More info HERE, Facebook event HERE, feel free to share and invite!

We’re going bigger and better this year!
Center of creative ideas Creativia is looking for submissions for the second edition of S3T ART International Street Art Show!

Here’s the deal:
We are looking for stickers, stencils, posters, paste-ups and all kind of similar stuff to introduce them to our local community (and possibly beyond – more info soon)
But! This is not another in the line of “lets put some stickers side by side in a gallery” type show! After the exhibition, we will make sure that the majority of the received material actually end up on the streets where they belong!

Our goal is to gather together a bunch of creative artists, show their works to our general public, help the community realizing that what we do is much more than pure vandalism, and lifting the local street art scene to a whole new level!

The show will run in middle of October. Exact date and venue will be announced soon! The reason of this is that there is a possibility of multiple venues in Kikinda and surrounding cities! ;)

The deadline is September 15, 2012. Please make shure that your package arrive ’round this time – we will accept late entries, however there is no guarantee that they will be featured in official line-up in printed materials.

S3T ART Kikinda

S3T ART je grupna izložba preko 15 umetnika iz zemlje i inostranstva, koji svoje radove predstavljaju prvenstveno u javnim prostorima. Ulična umetnost pored tradicionalnih grafita-murala obuhvata i slike izrađene pomoću šablona, kao i nalepnice, plakate, video projekcije, instalacije i druge intervencije u javnim prostorima. Ovi radovi su često reakcije na aktuelna dešavanja, ili su u bliskoj interakciji sa svojim okruženjem. Oni su u većini slučajeva postavljeni bez dozvole, ali su mnogo prihvaćenije nego "tradicionalni" grafiti.

Cilj ove izložbe jeste da predstavi radove lokalnih umetnika kao i njihovih kolega iz više od 10 zemalja sa četiri kontinenta, i da dokaže da iako su ove slike, nalepnice i plakati pre svega namenjeni za izlaganje na ulicama, isto tako se uklapaju i u tradicionalni izložbeni prostor.

As part of the Power Of Imagination Festival, Center of creative ideas "Creativia" will host the first International Street Art Show in Kikinda, Serbia. We welcome all submissions, whether they are stickers, posters, stencils or any other form of urban art.
