T-shirt illustration process

Scrolling through an old sketchbook I found another drawing that later turned into actual product. It's one more example how simple and stupid my initial sketches are, so let's take a look at this gem:

In the beginning it's more important to visualize an idea than to execute it perfectly on first try. In most cases ideas pop up when you work on totally different projects, so it's a good idea to quickly drop it on paper before it disappears in the dark alleys of your crazy brain... So a few weeks after this doodle I saw it again and thought it can be turned into a T-shirt:

Spray Every Day

The first time I wrote down the idea for this work and the first draft that later I printed on T-shirts.

This is actually a few years old sketch, but I thought it will be good to break the monotony of brush scripts and blackletters and it fits in this month's theme.

T-Shirt design for Sangre Eterna

 

T-shirt illustration I did earlier this year for Sangre Eterna. The guys are super talented and one of the hardest working and most dedicated bands in the country, you should definitely check out their music!

The illustration is a reference to the single Through the Waves of Agony which is dedicated to the victims of tsunami that struck Japan in 2011.

Cover artwork for Zaa

I stumbled upon these illustrations I made few years ago for a Serbian ska/reggae/punk/etc. band ZAA. This is a single with two songs, "Full Scale Riot" and "Moonlight" that is still available for download HERE.
